Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of intensive insulin pump therapy for elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2 DM)and its influencing factors.Methods 100 elderly patients with T2 DM who received intensive insulin pump therapy in our hospital from July 2017 to July 2020 were selected.After 2 weeks of treatment,the blood glucose levels were counted.Patients’relevant data at admission were collected and the related factors influencing the effect of intensive insulin pump therapy were analyzed.Results After 2 weeks of treatment,the standard-reaching rate of blood glucose was 58.00%.Univariate and multiple Logistic regression analysis showed that high levels of FBG and HbAlc,and low level of C2/C0 at admission were the influencing factors for poor effect of insulin pump intensive therapy in elderly patients with T2 DM(OR>1,P<0.05).Conclusions High levels of FBG and HbAlc,and low level of C2/C0 at admission are the influencing factors for poor effect of insulin pump intensive therapy in elderly patients with T2 DM.
