The Clinical Observation of Cyclophosphamide Combined with Docetaxel in the Treatment of Patients with Metastatic Breast Cancer

Objective To investigate the curative efficacy and toxicities of cyclophosphamide combined with docetaxel in the treatment of patients with metastatic breast cancer who previously underwent multi-pass chemotherapy. Methods The 26 patients with metastatic breast cancer who previously underwent multi-pass chemotherapy were treated with chemotherapy:cyclophosphamide 600 mg/m2,d1;docetaxel 37.5 mg/m2,d1,8,21 days were 1 cycle,the efficacy and toxicities were evaluated after 3 cycles of chemotherapy. Results Of all the 26 patients,the response rate was 38.5%(10/26),and the clinical benefit response rate was 84.6%(22/26).The main toxicities were leucopenia,alopecie,nausea,vomiting,hepatic function lesion,thrombocytopenia and cardiotoxicity,all the toxicities were mild. Conclusion Cyclophosphamide combined with docetaxel can be applied to the palliative chemotherapy for patients with metastatic breast cancer.
