Abstract:
Objective:To establish an atomic absorption spectrophotometry method for determining the content of lithium carbonate sustained-release tablets.Methods:Flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry with external standard method was adopted.The instrument conditions were as follows:the detection wavelength was 670.8 nm;the lamp current was 5 mA;the slit was 0.8 nm;the background mode was no background;the flow rate of acetylene was 70 L·h-1,the flow rate of air was 460 L·h-1;the height of burner was 6 mm.Results:The precision,repeatability and robustness were all good,and the average recovery was 100.3%with RSD as 0.7%(n=9).The test results of three batches of samples were 100.1%,99.0%and 100.6%respectively,which had no significant difference with the results obtained from the method of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia method.Conclusion:The validated method can be used for quality control of lithium carbonate sustained-release tablet.
