Abstract: | Extensive restorative dentistry or so-called mouth rehabilitation is merely a correlation of required and indicated dental restorations and treatment for a particular patient, the procedures of which are governed and controlled by that patient's limitations. No set rule can be recommended which will apply to the treatment of all patients. The correct and proper method of approach depends upon the foresight, the ability, and practical experience of the practitioner and his technician. We must be mindful, always, that some mouths are better off if left alone. |
