| Abstract: | The mutagenic activities of the trans-1,2- and 3,4-diols ofdibenz(a,c)anthracene, both of which could yield bay-regiondiol-epoxides on further metabolism, were lower than those ofthe parent hydrocarbon and of the related 10,11-diol. |
