Clinical Observation of Astragalus Oral Liquid in the Treatment of Anal Bulge with Syndrome of Middle Qi Collapse Caused by Internal Rectal Prolapse

Objective To observe the clinical effect of Astragalus oral liquid in the treatment of anal bulge with syndrome of middle qi collapse caused by internal rectal prolapse.Methods The study include 50 patients who met the inclusion criteria,and divide them into the intervention group and the control group with the proportion of 1∶1.The intervention group is treated with Astragalus oral liquid and the control group is treated with Diosmin.The treatment efficiency,anal bulge score and quality of life score (SF-36) of the two groups are compared.Results The effective rate of the intervention group is 92.00%,which is significantly better than that of the control group (64.00%) (P<0.05).The improvement of anal bulge score and each dimension of quality of life score is also better than that of the control group and the differences between the two groups are significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Astragalus oral liquid is one of the alternative methods in the treatment of anal bulge with syndrome of middle qi collapse caused by internal rectal prolapse.It can improve the treatment efficiency,reduce the degree of anal bulge and improve the quality of life.
