5 679例育龄人群地中海贫血检查结果分析

目的:了解广东地区地中海贫血的发病情况。方法:对5679例育龄人群进行了地中海贫血血液学临床检测。首先测定受检者红细胞脆性,对红细胞脆性异常者再进行HbA2、HbF定量。HbA2和(或)HbF升高者为β地贫。红细胞脆性异常而HbA2和HbF不升高者为α地贫,进一步进行α地贫基因诊断,以排除α地贫1杂合子。结果:在5679例受检者中,共检出红细胞脆性异常1329例。其中β地贫患者234例,接受α地贫基因诊断患者213例,检出α地贫1杂合子76例。结论:广东地区是地中海贫血的高发区,应在全省各地普及推广地贫的大人群筛查,尤其是育龄人群的筛查,必要时进一步进行地贫基因诊断。

Analysis on Thalassemia Examination among 5679 Persons at Reproduction - age

Objective: To find out the thalassemia incidence in GuangDong Province. Methods: Blood samples from 5679 persons at reproduction - age were examined on thalassemia hematology. The red cell brittle-ness of 5679 persons were examined and then the levels of HbA2 and HbF were examined if their red cell brittleness were abnormal. Persons whose levels of HbA2 and ( or ) HbF increased were 8 - thalassemia patients; Persons whose levels of HbA2 and HbF did not increase were o; - thalassemia patients. The latter were examined by a - thalassemia gene to excluded - thalassemia - 1 heterozygote. Results: There were 1329 patients whose red cell brittleness were abnormal and among of them there were 234 8 - thalassemia patients. 213 patients were examined by a - thalassemia gene and 76 a - thalassemia - 1 heterozygotes were found. Conclusion : There is a high incidence of thalassemia in GuangDong province. It is necessary to examine blood samples on thalassemia among persons at reproduction - age, and then checkct - thalassemia gene if it is necessary .
