Application effect of 3D printing composite implant guide in implant restoration of free end teeth loss

Objective To investigate the application effect of 3D printing composite implant guide in implant restoration of free end teeth loss.Methods From May 2017 to May 2020,58 patients with free end tooth loss admitted in our hospital were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 29 cases in each group.The control group was treated with traditional implant guide,and the observation group was treated with 3D printing composite implant guide.The deviation value of implant tip and neck,the score of beauty,satisfaction and comfort,and the incidence of complications were compared between the two groups.Results The deviation values of implant tip and neck vertical,buccolingual,mesial and distal directions in the observation group were less than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of beauty,satisfaction and comfort in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion 3D printing composite implant guide in implant restoration of free end tooth loss has good effect,which can reduce implant bias,improve patient satisfaction and comfort,safe and beauty.
