Clinical effect of dexamethasone combined with hyperbaric oxygen in the treatment of patients with sudden deafness and its influence on hearing

Objective To analyze the clinical effect of dexamethasone combined with hyperbaric oxygen in the treatment of patients with sudden deafness and its influence on hearing.Methods A total of 86 patients with sudden deafness admitted in our hospital from March 2018 to March 2020 were selected as the research objects,and the patients were divided into control group and study group according to the treatment methods,with 43 cases in each group.The control group was treated with dexamethasone,and the study group was treated with hyperbaric oxygen on the basis of the control group.Hemorheological indexes,hearing threshold before and after treatment and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,PV,RCAI,FIB level in the two groups decreased,and those in the study group were lower than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the 1,2,4 kHz hearing thresholds in the two groups decreased,and those in the study group were lower than the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Dexamethasone combined with hyperbaric oxygen in the treatment of sudden deafness has significant effect,it can improve the hemorheological indexes and hearing function of patients,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
