| Abstract: | A study of small mammals was made in 1986, 1987, and 1991 at the suburbs of Duyun, Guizhou. Two working were set up at different altitudes and habitats in the suburbs of Duyun. Nineteen species of Insectivora, Chiroptera and Rodentia were captured, the former include 2 species of Insectivora,belonging to 1 genus, 1 families and the Chiroptera 2 species, belonging 2 genus, 2 families and the Rodentia 15 species,falling into 7 genus,Mus pahari,Apodemus chevrieri and Eothenomys miletus were dominant species, accounting for 21. 2%-33.3%, 16.7-21.2% and 33% of the total species. A small mammals in the suburbs of Duyun could be divided into two ecological groups according to their distribution and habitat. |
