二甲基亚砜对家兔脊髓实验性损伤的作用

摘    要:本文观察了二甲基亚砜对家兔脊髓实验性损伤的早期疗效。治疗组动物后肢运动功能的恢复明显较对照组好,无大小便障碍,手术切除之椎板已被新生骨组织所修复,对照组动物大部分不能恢复后肢运动功能,伤口有明显水肿及炎症,切除之椎板亦无修复。治疗组损伤之脊髓段含水量明显较对照组少(治疗组含水28%,对照组含水42%,P<0.0025),神经元形态较为正常,其新陈代谢旺盛,正常细胞数较对照组多,P=0.01,有核分裂现象。对照组轴突周围间隙明显较治疗组扩大、纤维横断面积大于治疗组,P<0.00025。本实验表明二甲基亚砜对早期脊髓损伤有较好的疗效、能减轻组织水肿、保护神经组织、促进脊髓功能恢复和组织修复,并对二甲基亚砜的作用机制、进行了初步讨论。

Abstract:The purpose of this report was to study the early effect of dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) in the treatment of experimental spinal cord injury. In this-experiment, 44 adult rabbits were divided into two groups: the treatment group and the control group. The treatment group showed a significantly faster recovery of the motor function in the animals' hind legs. There were no abnormal condition in their urination and defecation. The injuried area where the laminectomy had been performed was repaired by the newborn skeletal tissue. On the contrary y, the motor function in the hind legs of most of the animals in the control gro(?)p didn't get recovered. There were evident oedema and inflammation in the wound, and no evidence of restoration in the injured area where the laminectomy had been performed was noticed. In the treatment group the moisture content in the injured section of the spinal cord was 14% less than that in the control group and p<0.0025 was obtained. Neurons appeared in normal form and metalbolism was very vigorous. Neucleus clevage was observed and the number of normal cells was greater than that in the control group (p=0.01). The control group showed a greatly dilated periaxonal space, and the fibre transection area in the control group was larger than that in the treatment group (p<0.00025). In brief, this experiment demostrated that DMSO might provided a better effect for the early spinal card injury. These effects were to reduce tissue oedema, to protect nervous tissue and to promote the recovery of the tissue and the function of the spinal cord.
