Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of capparis versicolor griff on endotoxin-induced acute lung injury in mice.Methods A total of 40 male BALB/c mice were assigned to normal group,control group,model group and experimental group,each group 10 mice.Acute lung injury model was established by 20 mg·kg^-1 lipopolysaccharide intranasally inoculation.Control group and experimental group were orally given capparis versicolor griff 2.16 g·kg^-1,while model group and normal group were given the equal amount of normal saline.Lung injury score was observed in each group,and the levels of interleukin(IL)-2,IL-4,IL-5,IFN-γ,caspase-3 and caspase-9 in alveolar lavage fluid of mice were compared.Results The lung injury scores in normal group,control group,model group and experimental group were 1.25±0.22,1.10±0.31,7.26±1.27,4.31±1.05,IL-2 were(103.35±5.53),(101.98±6.37),(57.25±5.29),(79.64±4.78)pg·mL^-1,IFN-γwere(79.76±4.69),(83.14±4.98),(41.51±5.14),(67.91±4.42)pg·mL^-1,IL-4 were(23.17±2.16),(21.86±2.62),(59.01±3.86),(38.89±3.28)pg·mL^-1,IL-5 were(59.32±3.17),(61.60±4.76),(93.98±5.22),(74.14±4.77)pg·mL^-1,caspase-3 were(31.48±3.12),(33.01±4.31),(97.66±5.85),(59.14±4.55)pmol·L^-1,caspase-9 were(55.21±4.67),(53.39±5.22),(108.81±6.24),(77.53±5.85)pmol·L^-1,all with singnificant difference(all P<0.05).Conclusion Capparis versicolor griff can improve the inflammatory injury of acute lung injury mice effectively,and the action mechanism maybe related to the restoring of Th1/Th2 balance.
