Four antigens specific for platelets and unconnected with antigens of red and white blood cells, were distinguished in dogs by the thromboagglutination test. Inheritance of platelet antigens in dogs is Mendelian in type and is controlled by several recessive genes.Laboratory of Experimental Surgery, A. V.
