Analysis on the Current Situation of Health Literacy and Its Influencing Factors Among Residents of Jiading District in Shanghai of 2019

Objective To analyze the health literacy level of Jiading residents and its influencing factors,and to provide theoretical basis for targeted health intervention.Methods In 2019,2145 cases were selected among residents of Jiading by multi-stage stratified random sampling method.Results In 2019,the overall health literacy level of Jiading residents was 33.01%.The level of healthy lifestyle and behavior literacy(30.77%),infectious disease prevention literacy(24.66%)and basic medical literacy(28.95%)were relatively low.The order of literacy level of three aspects and six types of problems were consistent with those of the whole country in the same period.The results of multivariate analysis showed that the health literacy levels of the people with high school education or above,students,personnel of government institutions,and family income>50000 yuan were higher.Conclusion The healthy lifestyle and behavioral literacy,infectious disease prevention literacy and basic medical literacy were weak aspects of healthy literacy in Jiading.Residents from junior high school and below,an annual income≤50000 RMB were the main target to be intervented.
