Abstract:
Objective To explore the ultrasound characteristics of primary non-Hodgkin′s lymphoma of thyroid.Methods Retrospective analysis of the ultrasound findings of 19 patients admitted to the hospital from January 2010 to December 2019 who were confirmed by pathology detection as PT-NHL was conducted.Results A total of 19 sonographic images of PT-NHL patients mainly showed nodular,diffuse and mixed types,accounting for 63.2%(12/19),15.8%(3/19)and 21.1%(4/19)respectively,and 68.4%(13/19)also had Hashimoto′s thyroiditis.Ultrasound results showed local or diffuse enlargement of thyroid,one or more hypoechoic or very hypoechoic lesions in the gland,uneven internal echoes,with a string-like,grid-like,point-like,and cluster-like hyperechoic and cystic changes,enhanced echo behind the lesion.Conclusion PT-NHL audiovisual representations are diverse,if a very low echo lesion is found in the background of Hashimoto′s thyroiditis,the rear echo is enhanced,and we should be alert to the possibility of PT-NHL.
