A review on the treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis in the elderly

By consulting the current treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis,including non-surgical treatment and surgical treatment,and the application of finite element analysis in orthopedics and traumatology,various therapies were reviewed in order to provide treatment objective basis.Non-surgical treatment includes acupuncture-moxibustion,oral medicine,and TCM integrated physical therapy.Although non-surgical treatment cannot cure lumbar spinal stenosis,it can relieve clinical symptoms to a considerable extent.Surgical treatment is more traumatic,but it can achieve corresponding results.With the advent of the new era of information intelligence,finite element technology is relatively perfect to assist the treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis,and provide objective and quantitative data support for the clinic.
