An analysis of tongue diagnosis for patients with cognitive dysfunction after acute cerebral infarction

Objective:To observe and analyze the characteristics of tongue diagnosis for patients with cognitive dysfunction after acute cerebral infarction.Methods:The tongue color,tongue coating,tongue shape,and sublingual veins of 72 hospitalized cases were observed and analyzed.Results:In patients with cognitive dysfunction after acute cerebral infarction,the shape of the tongue is mostly swollen tongue and tooth-mark tongue,and thinness,cracks,bruising,petechiae,and hypoglossal veins abnormality were also common.The tongue coating is mostly white greasy or yellow greasy.Conclusion:According to tongue examination,it can be seen that Piqi Kuixu(脾气亏虚),Shizhuo Neiyun(湿浊内蕴),Tanyu Neizu(痰瘀内阻)are important pathogenesis of cognitive dysfunction after acute cerebral infarction.Clinically,it can be treated based on the changes of tongue pictures,and the therapy of resolving phlegm,promoting Qi(气)and removing dampness,promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis should be paid more attention to.
