石榴皮多酚对人乳腺癌细胞MDA-MB-231增殖及凋亡的影响

[目的]研究石榴皮多酚对人乳腺癌细胞MDA-MB-231增殖及凋亡的影响。[方法]四甲基偶氮唑盐(MTT)法检测石榴皮多酚对人乳腺癌MDA-MB-231细胞增殖抑制作用;流式细胞仪分析细胞周期及细胞凋亡。[结果]石榴皮多酚对人乳腺癌细胞MDA-MB-231的增殖有抑制作用,且呈现浓度和时间依赖性;石榴皮多酚能诱导MDA-MB-231细胞凋亡,使癌细胞周期被阻滞在G2-M期。[结论]石榴皮多酚可抑制人乳腺癌细胞MDA-MB-231增殖,诱导癌细胞凋亡,并阻滞癌细胞在G2-M期。

Effects of extract of pomegranate peel on proliferation and apoptosis of breast cancer cell line MDA-MB-231

[Objective] To investigate the effects of extract of pomegranate peel on proliferation and apoptosis of breast cancer cell line MDA-MB-231. [Methods] MTT assay was used to measure the anti-proliferation effect of extract of pomegranate peel in breast cancer line MDA-MB-231. The apoptosis and the cell cycle were analyzed by flow cytometry. [Results] The extract could inhibit the proliferation of breast cancer cell line MDA-MB-231 in dose-and time-dependent manner. It could induce the apoptosis of MDA-MB-231 cells. The growth of cancer cells was arrested in G₂-M phase. [Conclusion] Extract of pomegranate peel can inhibit the proliferation of breast cancer cell line MDA-MB-231, induce apoptosis and block the growth of cancer cells in G₂-M phase.
