Abstract: | ![]() The transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) procedure is a well-described means of treating portal hypertension and its complications. Occasionally, the consequences of this shunt prompt the desire for its subsequent obliteration. We report one unsuccessful and one successful method of TIPS occlusion.
