Abstract: | Pregnancy can be challenging for women with cerebral palsy. Physical limitations and comorbidities can predispose them to complications during pregnancy, such as deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism, making their care needs more complex. A multidisciplinary care plan, as well as clear and effective communication among different health care providers, will help ensure safe and optimal postpartum care of women with cerebral palsy and their newborns. |
