Abstract:
Abstract The portal of entry of disseminated Fusarium spp. infections is still not clearly defined. We report on a disseminated Fusarium oxysporum infection occurring during a long period of severe neutropenia in a child with hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis. A nasogastric feeding tube was the possible source of entry of the fungus.
