Comparative study of nasal endotracheal intubation guided by video laryngoscope combined with tube core and UE electronic soft lens

Objective To evaluate the effects of nasal endotracheal intubation guided by visual laryngoscope combined with tube core and UE visual soft lens in oral surgery patients.Methods Sixty patients,ASA I orⅡ,undergoing general anesthesia with nasotracheal intubation were randomly divided into 2 groups:visual laryngoscope group(group K)and UE visual soft lens group(group U).Both groups were treated with ephedrine nasal drops.We began the intubation 3 minutes after the fast induction.The SBP,DBP and HR were recorded 5 minutes after being into the operating room(T0),before anesthesia induction(T1),intubation(T2),1 minutes after intubation(T3),3 minutes after intubation(T4).The number of successful intubation cases,the number of successful intubation cases at the first time,the time of intubation(the time from the end of mask ventilation to intermittent positive pressure ventilation accompaning three waveform capnography after the endotracheal intubation was successfully performed)and the complications of intubation were all recorded.Patients were followed up 24 hours after surgery to record hoarseness and sore throat.Results Compared with group K,the time of tracheal intubation was significantly shorter in group U(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in the success rate of intubation and the success rate of primary intubation(P>0.05).Compared with baseline,SBP and DBP of T2,T3 and T4 in two groups decreased(P<0.05).Compared with group K,hemodynamic fluctuation in group U was smaller(P<0.05).Conclusion The nasal endotracheal intubation by UE electronic soft lens had shorter duration and stable hemodynamics.There fewer complications of endotracheal intubation in both groups.The nasal endotracheal intubation guided by Video laryngoscope combined with tube core is a simple,economical method.
