Significance of serum levels of IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-alpha in children with chronic gastritis

【Objective】To explore the significance of serum levels of interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-8(IL-8)and tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-alpha)in children with chronic gastritis.【Methods】One hundred and twenty children with chronic gastritis treated in our hospital from September 2014 to November 2018 were selected,and 115 children with normal physical examination were selected as control group.The serum levels of IL-6,IL-8,TNF-alpha and the specificity and sensitivity of each index were detected.【Results】The levels of IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-alpha in serum of children with chronic gastritis were significantly higher than those of healthy children(P<0.05).At the same time,the expression of IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-alpha in combination was more specific and sensitive(P<0.05).After treatment,the serum levels of IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-alpha in children with chronic gastritis gradually decreased with the increase of treatment time(P<0.05).【Conclusion】Interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-8(IL-8)and tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-alpha)are constantly changing in the occurrence and development of chronic gastritis,which provides a new way for accurate diagnosis of chronic gastritis.
