Study on Mechanism of Chishao in the Treatment of Atherosclerosis Based on Network Pharmacology

Objective:To screen the related signal pathway of Chishao(Radix Paeoniae Rubra)in the treatment of atherosclerosis by network pharmacology and explore its mechanism.Methods:With Chishao as the key word,the pharmacology analysis platform of TCM system was searched.According to the oral bioavailability and drug-like properties,the main effective components and action targets of Chishao were screened.The target genes related to atherosclerosis were found in Genecards database and OMIM database.The interaction between target of Chishao and disease target genes was collected to construct the regulation network of Chishao-component-atherosclerosis-target gene.The protein interaction network of Chinese medicinals-disease target gene was constructed by STRING database.Finally,GO function enrichment analysis and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis were carried out.Results:A total of 29 active components and 123 effective targets were selected.A total of 72 target genes were obtained after the interaction of atherosclerosis target gene and Chishao action target.KEGG pathway analysis showed that there were hepatitis B,AGE-RAGE signaling pathway in diabetic complications,and Toll-like receptor signaling,etc.Conclusion:The effective components of Chishao can treat atherosclerosis by through multiple target genes involved in multiple pathways.
