Clinical Effect Observation of Modified Chaijin Decoction in Treating Chronic Cholecystitis with Dampness-Heat Syndrome of Liver and Gallbladder

Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of Modified Chaijin Decoction(柴金汤加减,MCJD)in treating chronic cholecystitis with dampness-heat syndrome of liver and gallbladder.Methods:A total of 80 patients with chronic cholecystitis were randomly divided into two groups:the experimental group and the control group,with 40 cases in each group according to the order of admission.The two groups were first given routine treatment,then the experimental group was additionally given MCJD,while the control group was additionally given Inflammation-Resolving Gall-Bladder-Excreting Tablets.Results:After the treatment,the TCM syndrome scores,right upper abdominal pain score and tenderness score of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group,and all the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the gallbladder wall thickness and gallbladder volume of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group,and the gallbladder emptying rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group,and all the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the levels of superoxide dismutase and interleukin-8 in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group,while the levels of tumor necrosis factor-αand malondialdehyde in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group,and all the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the effective rate of the experimental group was 92.5%,which was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:In terms of chronic cholecystitis with dampness-heat syndrome of liver and gallbladder,MCJD can promote bile excretion,relieve pain,enhance gallbladder function,increase the levels of superoxide dismutase and interleukin-8,and reduce the levels of tumor necrosis factor-αand malondialdehyde.
