Abstract:
Objective To investigate the correlation between the expression of miR-200 a and Yesassociated protein 1(YAP1)in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)and its clinicopathological significance.Methods A total of 259 non-small cell lung cancer patients were retrospectively enrolled in this study. The tumor tissues and adjacent tissues were collected. RT-PCR was used to detect and compare the expression of miR-200 a and YAP1 in cancer tissues and adjacent tissues. The relevance and its clinicopathological significance was analyzed. Results There was no significant difference of the expression miR-200 a and YAP1 levels in pathological type,depth of invasion,tumor grade,and number of tumors(P>0.05). The expression levels of miR-200 a and YAP1 were significantly different in the comparison of tumor differentiation and lymph node metastasis(P<0.05). The expression levels of miR-200 a and YAP1 in non-small cell lung cancer tissues were higher than those in adjacent tissues. Among them,the expression level of YAP1 in non-small cell lung cancer tissues was significantly higher than that of miR-200 a. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The area under the ROC curve of miR-200 a(0.689)was larger than that of YAP1(0.666),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion The expression levels of miR-200 a and YAP1 are positively correlated with the clinicopathological severity of non-small cell lung cancer and have certain predictive value for the diagnosis of non-small cell lung cancer.
