颅内泡状棘球蚴病

作者报道1989年以来收治的5例脑内泡状棘球蚴囊肿,均经病理证实。其中3例合并肝泡状棘球蚴,2例肝、肺均有泡状棘球蚴。此病其临床表现及CT扫描均不典型,常常被误诊为颅内胶质瘤。因此凡对来自牧区该病流行区患者,有颅内高压症状,CT显示多个大小不等的圆形低密度病灶排列为葡萄状,结合包虫三项试验常可做出正确诊断。本病以手术治疗为主,口服丙硫咪唑等驱虫药物无效。

Intracranial Alveolar Hydatid Disease

Five cases of alveolar hydatid disease of brain were reported, the infections were confirmed by pathological examinations and operation since 1989. Two were male amd three female, age from 40 to 44. Three patients had the complication of hepatic and the others had hepatic and pulmonary hydatid infections. The symptoms of the patients: headache, vomiting, papilla edema, hemiplegia and high intracranial pressure. Usually the patients were misdiagnosed with intracranial tumor. In such conditions the immunological test will be considered. CT scanning shows high density in perifocal edema, or rim enhancement after injection of contrast material. An encircle shaped foci of calcffication may appear in the centre of these lessions. It is difficult to differetiate with the intracranial glioma. It showed that yellowish tubercles were surounded the graywhite multilobulated mass. Alveolar hydatids are common parasitic disease of the pastureland, which usually emerge in the liver while rarely for intracranial infection. Only nine cases had been reported. The parasitism of central nervous system are usually transfered by blood. In the light of an atypical appearence and CT scans, misdiagnosis with the glioma usually Occuried. If a patient came from the endemic region, the diagnosis could be confirmed by characteristic symptoms, CT scans and the immunological tests. Most of the cases were given surgical therapy.
