Abstract: | A patient presented with incessant supraventricular tachycardia due to a concealed accessory pathway. The His bundle electrocardiogram showed a large discrete accessory pathway potential following ventricular activation and resulting in retrograde atrial activation. Percutaneous catheter ablation in the region of the accessory pathway potential left nodal conduction intact but prevented retrograde activation of the atria. Symptomatic tachycardia has not recurred. Direct endocardial recording of accessory pathway potentials is rare hut may offer the opportunity for catheter ablation. |
