Abstract:This study consists of 45 patients with clinically definite MS, laboratory supported definite MS and clinically probable MS. We compared MEP results with other multimodal evoked potentials (VEP, BAEP and SEP). The abnormal rate of MEP was 87.6%, which was the highest. Abnormal MEP showed prolonged central motor conduction time (CMCT), consistent with pathological change of the demyelination. There was a evident correlation between the abnormal MEP and VEP, which is consistent with the most common MS (Devic Syndrome) in our country.
