The risk factors of ineffective communication between nursing staffs and patients and the relevant countermeasures

To review the risk factors of miscommunication between the nursing staff and patients,to decrease the rates of miscommunication accidents and to find solutions to build better relationship between nurses and patients.Factors that lead to ineffective communication include：inappropriate conversations from nurse,bothersome hospital environment,long working hours for nurses and not enough working force.After taking steps of training in communication skills among nursing staff; better management of patient care units,better regulations on visitors,carrying out negotiable working shifts,changing hospital environment and improving nursing staffs＇ own capability,the communication between nursing staffs and patients have effectively improved so as to reduce the dissension and get satisfaction from them.
