Abstract: | A case of double hemangioma of the right lobe of the liver, treated surgically, is presented. The technics for diagnosing and resecting such vascular tumors are reviewed. The need for a wide excision and for placing all incisions in the normal adjacent liver parenchyma and the dangers of partial excision and of biopsy are re-emphasized. The value of roentgenotherapy in diffuse or inoperable hemangiomas is acknowledged. |
