Abstract: | Recent findings on health hazards of oral contraceptives and intrauterine devices have prompted American women to seek alternative forms of birth control which are both safe and effective. The cervical cap may provide a desired alternative and is relatively inexpensive. Types of caps are described below, with nursing guidelines for use and fitting. |
