红内期恶性疟原虫转运系统研究进展

摘    要:恶性疟原虫在终末分化的红细胞中发育生长,虽然可以有效的逃避宿主免疫系统的攻击,但同时也面临没有现成的转运系统可供利用等方面的挑战。事实上,红内期疟原虫发展了一套新的转运系统用于其自身蛋白在宿主红细胞中的转运。本文将综述最近几年来红内期恶性疟原虫有关转运信号、蛋白分选和转运等机制方面的最新进展。

Abstract:The malaria parasite of Plasmodiumfalciparum invades the erythrocytes of its human host and initiates a series of morphological modification within the highly terminally differentiated cell. Life inside such cells provide the parasite protection from host's immune system, however, the mature erythrocyte has no endogenous trafficking machinery and the parasite must to generate a new system that allows the correct trafficking of parasite proteins to their final cellular destination. It is very important for parasite's survival and replication in the erythrocyte. In this review, we summarize the currently understanding of the trafficking signals, mechanisms of protein sorting and section in the P. falciparum infected erythrocyte.
