| Abstract: | Objective To investigate the optimal method for extracting impacted mandibular molar. Methods Clinical data, obtained from 216 cases undergoing tooth separation to extract the impacted mandibular molar in stomatology department of our hospital, were retrospectively analyzed. Results The clinical effectiveness of tooth separation used for extracting the impacted mandibular molar was satisfactory. Conclusion Tooth separation proves to be an effective method for extracting impacted mandibular molar. |
