The Application of XML in Medical Archives Management System

Objective In order to resolve the problems in storage of medical information with databases. Methods The medical information was encapsulated by using XML format, and stored into databases. Results The compicity could be reduced by using XML to encapsulate the medica information, and the eficiency could be improved by using database to store the encapsulated information. Conclusion Combination of XML and database could benefit from each other.
