Clinical study on ultrasound-guided needle-knife loosening combined with Yaofang granules in the treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion

Objective To observe the clinical effect of ultrasound-guided needle knife loosening combined with Yaofang granules in the treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion,and to provide a feasible reference for the treatment of patients with lumbar disc herniation.Thereby improving the quality of life of patients.Methods Sixty patients who visited hospital from January to December 2019 at pain outpatient for lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion were randomly selected.After treatment,60 patients were treated with traditional Chinese medicine Yaofang granules.Among them,30 patients treated with needle-knife under ultrasound guidance were included as the observation group,and 30 patients treated under traditional anatomical positioning were included as the control group.The treatment effect,complication rate,pain assessment(VAS)and lumbar Oswestry dysfunction index(ODI)assessment of all patients before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results All the 60 patients were followed up.The total effective rate in the observation group was 96.67%(29/30),which was significantly higher than 80.00%(24/30)in the control group,and there was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).The VAS score,JOA and ODI scores of the patients were followed up.The scores of the observation group at each time point were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with traditional anatomical positioning,ultrasound-guided needle-knife loosening combined with Yaofang granules in the treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion can significantly increase the effective rate,reduce the incidence of complications,and have accurate results and high safety.
