COPING STRATEGIES OF HOSPITAL CRISIS MANAGEMENT IN THE SOCIAL MEDIA AGE

The new social media has changed the traditional communication ecology,and exerted great influ- ence on communication in crisis of the hospital. The increasing scope and speed of the spread of hospital crisis in the social media age have posed new challenges to hospital crisis management. This paper analyzed the influence and challenge for hospitals brought by social media, combined with the characteristics and theory of hospital crisis man- agement, and put forward coping strategies about hospital crisis management under social media environment.
