食管鳞癌组织中前列腺跨膜蛋白的表达和临床意义

目的 探讨食管鳞癌组织及食管正常组织中雄激素诱导的前列腺跨膜蛋白1(PMEPA1)的表达情况,并分析其与食管鳞癌临床病理之间的关系.方法 230例食管癌患者均来自河南省林州市.利用组织微阵列技术,采用卵白素-生物素-辣根过氧化氢酶复合物(ABC)法,分析230例食管鳞癌组织(观察组)和相应正常食管组织(对照组)中PMEPA1的表达情况,并探讨其与食管鳞癌患者年龄、性别、肿瘤细胞分化程度、淋巴结转移、临床病理分期(TNM)分期和大体分型的关系.结果 观察组中PMEPA1蛋白表达明显高于对照组PMEPA1蛋白表达(80.0％ vs14.3％,P＜0.01)；PMEPA1蛋白高表达与淋巴结转移、TNM分期有关,而与年龄、性别、肿瘤细胞分化程度、和大体分型无关.结论 PMEPA1蛋白的异常表达可能在食管鳞癌的发生、发展及预后中起重要作用.

Expression and clinical significance of prostate transmembrane protein androgen induced 1 in tissues of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma

Objective To investigate the role of PMEPA1,a prostate transmembrane protein androgen induced 1,in the development and progression of human esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC),and analyze its correlation with the clinicopathological characteristics.Methods Using tissue array and immunohistochemistry,the expression level of PMEPA1 was determined in 230 ESCC tissues(observed group) and the corresponding normal esophageal tissues(control group).Its correlation with age,sex,tumor cell differentiation,lymph nodes metastasis,TMN stage and general classification were analyzed.Results ESCC tissues showed a significantly higher overexpression rate of PMEPA1 than the corresponding normal esophageal mucosal tissues(80.0% vs 14.3%,P<0.05).The overexpression of PMEPA1 was correlated with lymph nodes metastasis and TNM stage,but not with age,sex,tumor cell differentiation and general classification.Conclusion The abnormal expression of PMEPA1 gene may play an important role in the malignancy,progression and prognosis of ESCC.
