The reverse dorsal metacarpal flap from the first web

Summary Experience with the distally pedicled first dorsal metacarpal flap is presented. The anatomical basis of the flap is discussed, and four examples are presented from a group of ten cases. In this series, all flaps were successful. The possibility of using a second web reverse dorsal metacarpal flap and venous reverse flap of the dorsal part of the hand is also discussed.
