| Abstract: | A case of maternal death due to sub-arachnoid haemorrhage in an ovum donation twin pregnancy complicated by hypertension is described. Attention is drawn to a forecasted increase in maternal morbidity and mortality in in-vitro fertilization (IVF) pregnancies, which occur in older women and are often multiple. |
