Polypoid peritoneal metastases from carcinoid neoplasms |

| Abstract: | Two cases of lethal carcinoid neoplasia that involved unusual polypoid intraperitoneal metastases rather than the usual flat, sclerotic foci are reported. This type of intraperitoneal polypoid carcinomatosis should alert both the surgeon and pathologist to the possibility of carcinoid neoplasia. |
