Abstract:Objective: To detect the role of inflammatory response and its significance in patients with slow coronary flow (SCF) . Methods: A total of 60 patients without obvious coronary stenosis by angiography were divided into SCF group and normal coronary flow (NCF) group (30 cases for each group) . Clinical manifestations, serum levels of soluble E-selectin (SES) and high sensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) were compared and analyzed in two groups. Results : Serum levels of SES and hs-CRP were significantly higher in SCF group than those in NCF group ( 58.60 ±3.96 vs 43.83 + 3.50ng/mL ; 3.92 ± 0.40 vs 2.58 ±0.22 μg/mL, P 〈 0.01 ), and serum level of hs-CRP is positively correlated with the average TIMI frame count (r = 0. 830,P 〈 0.01 ). Conclusion: Increased serum levels of hs-CRP and SES in patients with SCF may be an indicator of inflammatory response and play an important role in the pathogenesis of SCF phenomenon.
Keywords:Coronary slow flow Soluble E-seleetin High sensitivity C-reactive protein
