| Abstract: | An epithelial cell line COLO 16 has been established from a human squamous carcinoma, characterized and maintained for over two years. The cells produce a parathyroid-like hormone and carcinoembryonic antigen. The line is definitely not a "HeLa contaminant." The cell line is available to other investigators. |
