垂体腺瘤中PTEN蛋白的表达及其临床意义

目的:探讨抑癌基因PTEN蛋白在垂体腺瘤中的表达及其与垂体腺瘤侵袭性的关系。方法:应用免疫组化(S-P法)检测59例垂体肿瘤与4例正常脑组织中PTEN蛋白的表达情况。结果:PTEN蛋白在4例正常脑组织中全部表达,非侵袭性垂体腺瘤中PTEN蛋白表达高于侵袭性垂体腺瘤,具有显著性差异(P<0.01),在不同功能类型的垂体腺瘤之间无明显差异(P>0.05)。PTEN蛋白表达在无囊变、卒中垂体腺瘤组中高于有囊变、卒中组,两者有显著性差异(P<0.05)。结论:垂体瘤的发生发展中存在PTEN基因失活现象,并与垂体腺瘤的侵袭性相关。

The expression of PTEN protein in pituitary tumor and its significance

Objective:To investigate the expression of tumor suppressor gene PTEN protein in pituitary tumor and its clinicopathological significance. Methods:The expression of PTEN protein was detected by immunohistochemistry(S-P Method ) in 59 cases of pituitary tumor tissues and 4 cases with normal brains. Results:The expression of PTEN protein was significantly stronger in non-invasive pituitary tumor than in invasive pituitary tumor (P<0.01).Significants clinical differnce existed between two groups in size, the incidence of hemorrhage ,necrosis and cystic components(P<0.05).Conclusions:It is indicated that PTEN gene inactivation may play a role in the genesis and development of pituitary tumor. PTEN protein might serve as a molecular marker to detect the invasive potential of pituitary tumor.
