| Abstract: | Objective To study the prevalence of HBV DNA in anti-HBc positive and HBsAg negative healthy blood donors.Methods Enzyme link immunosorbent assay(ELISA) was used to detect serum anti-HBc and its titer for 5 121 samples from HBsAg negative healthy blood donors,serum anti-HBs was assayed with ELISA and three different HBV genomic regions were amplified with nest-PCR for anti-HBc positive samples.Results Of the 5 121 samples,26.4% blood donors were found to be reactive to anti-HBc,and 16.4% anti-HBc positive s... |
