| Abstract: | [Objective] To observe the clinical effect of Runsang Chongji in the prevention and treatment of the disease of throat. [Methods] Three hundred and ninety-seven cases (treatment group) were treated by Runsang Chongji and 104 cases (control group) by the regular therapy.Some healthy persons were treated prophylactivaly with this drug. [Results] The total effective rate was 64.98% in the treatment group and 16.34% in the control group (P<0.01). In healthy persons, Runsang Chongji can prevent the occurrence of throat disease. [Conclusion] Runsang Chongji has potent effect in the treatment or prevention of chronic pharyngitis, tonsillitis and laryngitis etc. |
