STUDIES ON THE FOOD AND THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM OF CERTAIN PARASITES V. ON THE FOOD OF LIVER FLUKES

This paper deals with the food of four species of liver flukes:Fasciota-hepatica, DicrocoeZiutm dendriticum, Ctonorchis sinensis andMeiorchis orientalis. As all of these are parasites of biliary passages,it is interesting to make a study of the following three problems : (1)Whatis their food ? (2) Are there any differences between the qualityand quantity of their food ? and (3) Is there any relationship with the pathological lesions they produce ?
