Abstract: | Up to the present time the histopathological changes in the in-testinal trbct of vertebrates due to parasitic worms have been studiedin detail only in man and in a numbcr of domestic animals. Forobvious reasons very little work has been done on the histopathologyof non-domestic animaIs. Further comparative studies in this linewill, however, be useful for the vndcrstanding of certain biologicalpeculiarities of parasites, because obscrvations made in one host withregard to a parasite frequently explain the findings met in anothcrhost regarding the same or a nearly related parasite. |
