| Abstract: | Objective To evaluate the impact of thalidomide on thyroid function in patients with Graves' disease. Methods A total of 18 patients with Graves' disease were divided into group A(on antithyroid agent,n=10)and group B(on thalidomid and antithyroid agent,n=10).The function of thyroid gland was examined before and at weeks 3 and 6 after treatment. Results Lower dose of antithyroid agent was needed for patients on combined therapy with thalidomid than those on antithyroid agent alone. Conclusion Thalidomide ma... |
