| Abstract: | Localization of choline acetyltransferase(ChAT) in the human cochlea was studied with the method of immunocytochemisally.ChAT like immunoreactivity was found to be confined to the efferent system of the human cochlea.suggesting that acetylcholine is an efferent neurotransmitter in the olivocochlear systems of the man. |
